ARCHITECTURAL LIGHTING DESIGNER

INTERMEDIATE LEVEL

JOB OPPORTUNITIES

  • The person in this position will provide creative and production support to the Company‚Äôs team of designers

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Architectural lighting design
  • Concept graphics and visual image presentations
  • Project management
  • Project drafting
  • Lighting fixture research
  • Photometric calculation studies
  • Equipment pricing research
  • Document control
  • Assistance with onsite reviews, mockups, focus aiming, lighting programming

NECESSARY SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

  • Very proficient in AutoCAD, Bluebeam, AGI
  • Strong knowledge of Revit
  • Advanced level in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, Acrobat
  • Solid experience with all Adobe Creative Suite programs
  • Experience with Sketch Up (advantageous, but not mandatory) Experience with lighting control systems is a plus Formal training in lighting design, theatre production, architecture, or interior design is required

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POSITION

  • Minimum 2 years in an architectural lighting design consultancy
  • Bachelors or Masters degree (or foreign equivalent)
  • Must be fully eligible to work in the United States
  • Must have reliable transportation and live within reasonable commute of the studio
  • Fluency in English (verbal and written)
